Joey and Julie Nemargut

Julie Charbonneau and Joey Nemargut were joined in marriage in Estes Park, Colorado at the Black Canyon Inn on July 1, 2013. Julie was a stunning bride in her flowing pure white gown, while Joey just beamed from ear to ear all day. This special couple shared an amazing bond that beat two amazing odds: language and distance.

Joey grew up in North Carolina while Julie stems from a French Canadian background. When I asked Joey if it was hard to learn a new language for his love, he surprised me with his answer. No! As luck would have it, Joey's mom was a French teacher! Julie said that it was not so easy the other way around. Much of her English, as well as her mom's, came from watching American television. Oh boy! What became very obvious within 2 minutes of being with this couple though, was the love and devotion they share. Joey looked at his bride in a way that I have only ever seen once before: from my own husband. He adores her, and she him. Julie's gentle touch on Joey's arm was all it took for me to know that these two will have a lifetime of happiness before them. I didn't need to speak French to know that the most common thread between them was love.

Julie has already told me that she would love to see me again in the future, when they return to the Black Canyon Inn with what they hope are many children! To Julie and Joey, my heartfelt congratulations on a beautiful wedding and a marriage that I know will be blessed and amazing. Congrats!

The handsome Mr. Nemargut
 The blushing Mrs. Nemargut
Aren't their rings beautiful? This is one of my favorite ring and flower shots ever!
You just can't script that kind of happiness. I LOVE this picture!
 So sweet and perfect.
I couldn't decide if I liked it better in color or black and white, so here are both!
Shhh…don't tell. We aren't supposed to climb on the rocks, but this picture was worth it.
Perfect lighting, perfect smiles, perfect color. PERFECTION!
I call this one "Uh, Kim. It's about rain. Can you make it snappy, please?" (I don't know how that translates into French though. :)
 Such joy in their faces.
Sweet and gentle. Just the way a marriage should be.
Not even the looming clouds could make them frown.
 They did it!
I do believe this is true for this beautiful couple. Can't wait to see them again one day with their family.
Happy trails back to Montreal!
