Here Come Mr. and Mrs. Skrdlant!

Twila and Jason were married in the New Year of 2015 in a sunny outdoor ceremony in Estes Park, Colorado at the Black Canyon Inn on January 2nd. It was a lovely mountain day with crisp air, bright skies, and a fresh blanket of snow.

For those that are struggling to say the new Mr. and Mrs's last name, it is Skrdlant, phonetically, you would say skirt-lant. A difficult last name does not mean that there is anything difficult about this couple. This sweet pair from Nebraska were attentive to the day and all the special moments that it brought. There were moments of laughter and tears during the ceremony. The emotion was real and true. Jason gasped at the moment his bride rounded the corner into his sight. Twila sweetly wiped his eyes and they held each others hands tightly. Even on a cold day, the warmth from this couple was apparent.

Twila just glowed in her beautiful ivory fitted gown. Her beautiful smile lit up the room. Jason was soft spoken and polite and had the look, the look of someone in love, someone about to marry the love of his life. Twila wisked Jason away to the National Park before I arrived, for a first look. I saw some of the pictures, and love runs deep with these two. Throughout our time together, we captured amazing images. Happy. Silly. Passionate. Breathtaking. Think about that word...a moment that takes your breath away. It is because of these moments that I know that this couple will surely have a lifetime of love ahead of them.

To Twila and Jason, may the love in your marriage always be crisp, fresh, as lovely as it was on the day you became husband and wife. Be silly. Laugh and smile. Be happy and rejoice in the beauty of each other. Be Passionate. Steal kisses and hold each other tight in the warmth of a yellow blanket or in each others arms. Find moments in all that you do that will take your breath away. Cheers!
